A suspect was arrested after a fight broke out at a house party in Strathmore early Sunday morning and two men were shot and killed, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies were dispatched about 1:30 a.m. to the 21200 block of Avenue 196 in Strathmore, where they found the bodies of two males, ages 21 and 25, dead on the front yard.
Deputies say Jesus Rodriguez Soto, 22, opened fire at the two victims and then fled in his vehicle.
Thanks to witness tips, Porterville Police Department officers located the vehicle a short time later in the area of Newcomb Street and Olive Avenue in Porterville where they detained the suspect.
