Fresno teen’s bail is $238,000 after latest gun arrest

An 18-year-old Fresno teen was being held on $237,500 bail Wednesday after his latest arrest on firearms charges, police reported.

Officers from the MAGEC gang unit said Christopher Monzon was out on pre-trial probation when a warrant was served in the 2400 block of South Tenth Street and two firearms were located. One of the weapons, a semi-automatic pistol, was loaded and stolen. Monzon was booked on two counts of carrying a loaded and stolen firearm, participating in a gang, and other weapons charges.
