A former Fresno convenience store employee is accused of stealing nearly $130,000 in scratcher tickets, police report.

He was identified as Mantej Singh, 37.

Police say the thefts took place at a store near East Shields and North Armstrong avenues over a three-month period, where packs of tickets valued at $600 to $900 each were taken and later redeemed at the store and other locations.

Singh was booked into Fresno County Jail on allegations of embezzlement and grand theft.
