Fresno County Sheriff’s is seeking the public’s help to identify a man who stole thousands of dollars in cigarettes.

Just after noon on March 29th, a man entered the Jiffy Food Stop located at 5851 S. Elm Ave. in Easton.

After purchasing a drink, the man walked outside and opened an unlocked door of a car parked in the lot.

Inside was a box containing several cartons of cigarettes. The man stole the box and fled in a four-door car described as being blue or gray in color.

The victim is a co-owner of the Jiffy Food Stop who had just returned from a shopping trip where he had purchased $2,300 worth of cigarettes.

The suspect is described to be in his mid-20s, 5 feet, 6 inches, with a medium build, short hair and has a mustache.
