Crowd was watching two women fight on Clovis street when shots rang out. Two are hit

A man was wounded and a woman was grazed after shots were fired in a crowd watching two women fight in Clovis on Wednesday night, police said.

Police are looking for the shooter.

It happened just after 6 p.m. near the intersection of Gettysburg and Willow avenues.

According to a news release from Clovis police, two women were fighting in the street and a crowd gathered around them.

An associate of one of the women fighting then fired two rounds from a semi-automatic handgun into the crowd.

The wounded man was driven by a friend to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and the 19-year-old woman who was grazed refused medical treatment at the scene. Neither victim was identified by police.
