Fresno police say they arrested an alleged Bulldog gang member early Saturday morning after responding to a ShotSpotter alert in southeast Fresno.
Officers arrived at the 1400 block of North Millbrook Avenue around 3:45 a.m. Saturday after nine shots were heard, according to a Fresno police news release.
Upon arriving they located alleged Bulldog gang member Elias Vasquez, 32, and another man standing nearby behind a parked vehicle in a fenced driveway. After being called over, Vasquez dropped a hard object that hit the vehicle first before striking the ground, police said.
Both subjects were then detained. A 9 mm semi-automatic firearm was found behind the parked vehicle, and eight expended shell casings were located in the rear yard of the residence.
