Police seize multiple firearms after probation search of juvenile’s home

A gang unit recovered multiple firearms Thursday while conducting a probation search at a juvenile’s home in Sanger, Fresno police reported.

A spokesman said the juvenile was on probation for a previous possession of a firearm when the search was conducted in the 800 block of Tucker Avenue. Detectives found three shotguns and one rifle in the house, along with a large amount of ammunition.

The suspect was booked into Fresno County juvenile hall.
