Deputies look for two suspects in gas station robbery outside Malaga

Deputies are looking for two suspects in an armed robbery at a gas station on East Central Avenue in Fresno.

The two men entered the 76 gas station just before 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

Both wore hooded sweatshirts and had bandannas over their faces. One of the men had a gun and demanded money from the cashier. The other served as lookout.

Detectives are reviewing surveillance video, but have yet to identify the men, who are both are described as being Hispanic, in their 20s and 6-feet tall with thin builds.

The crime is not believe to be connected to a recent series of robberies that have happened in Caruthers (including one on Tuesday), the sheriff’s office said.
