An employee of the Walnut Park Retirement Village in Visalia was arrested this week on suspicion of seven residential burglaries committed on the property over the course of a year.
Detectives from the Visalia Police Department arrested 47-year-old Orailia Vallejo after receiving a lead. The alleged burglaries started last July.
Detectives discovered that Vallejo had burglarized several apartments at the location and used the victim’s credit cards throughout Tulare County.
Upon searching Vallejo’s residence, detectives recovered stolen jewelry from the burglaries, and also found evidence for nine additional burglaries and fraudulent credit card uses.
Vallejo was booked at the Tulare County Pretrial Facility on suspicion of 15 cases of residential burglary and identity theft.
