Authorities searching for missing disabled teen

Authorities are searching for a mentally disabled 16-year-old girl who was last seen with a family friend wanted for a probation violation and a separate Fresno police case.

April Hurtado has been missing since April 3 and was last seen at the home of Rudolph Fernandez Estrada on the 4800 block of East Mono Avenue after running away from her father’s home on the 200 block of South Clovis Avenue.

Police believe Hurtado is still possibly with Estrada, 40. Hurtado was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans and is described as 5 feet tall, 120 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Estrada is described as Hispanic, 6 feet tall, 226 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the location of Hurtado and Estrada are asked to call police detective Josh Mendizabal at (559) 621-2499.
