Fresno man with weapons held after allegedly threatening to kill wife, officers

A Fresno man reportedly on a five-day drug binge who threatened to kill his wife and police officers was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of making terrorist threats and domestic violence, police said.

The man reportedly threatened to kill his wife and police officers before he was taken into custody at a home in the 200 block of North Douglas Avenue in southeast Fresno. His wife reportedly told officers that the man was high on methamphetamine and had been on a five-day drug binge.

Lt. Joe Gomez said officers were able to take the man into custody without incident. Weapons seized included a .40 caliber handgun, a shotgun and an AR-15-type rifle.
