Three injured in possible gang-related drive-by shooting in Fresno

Three men were shot in a possible gang-related drive-by shooting on Thursday night west of Highway 99 in Fresno, police said.

Police said the men, described as in their mid-20s and Sureño gang members, were walking east on Olive Avenue near Marks Avenue when two male suspects in a small red car fired on them about 8:30 p.m.

Officers found the three victims lying on the sidewalk. One was struck in the chest, one in the arm and the other in the leg, police said. They were treated at Community Regional Medical Center for injuries that were not life-threatening.

The suspects were possibly Bulldog gang members, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
