DA announces charges against Visalia music teacher arrested in child molestation

The Visalia music teacher arrested Tuesday for allegedly molesting several of his underage students will face 16 felony charges, Tulare County District Attorney Tim Ward announced Thursday.

Gabriel Ziessler, 30, of Visalia, is accused of committing various sex crimes against four minors since the beginning of this year.

On Tuesday, Visalia Police said that Ziessler had been under investigation for allegedly touching a student during a music lesson at Grace Note Music Studio in Visalia on Feb. 26. He was arrested after a second complaint, this time at Rocky Hill Community Church in Exeter, was reported.

Two more victims were discovered in the past few days.

If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 20 years and four months in prison.
