Woman robbed of True Religion jeans after posting Facebook ad

A woman who used Facebook to try to sell a pair of designer jeans was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night in east-central Fresno, police reported.

The incident took place after a woman used the website to offer the True Religion jeans for $150. She agreed to meet the buyer, who she thought was a woman, at Peach and Olive avenues.

However, she arrived to find two armed men who took the pants.

The victim described the suspects as Hispanic males. One had tattoos and on his neck, face and arm. He was 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighed 200 pounds and had a mustache and goatee. The second man was about the same height but weighed more than 250 pounds.

The suspects fled west on Olive Avenue and are believed to live in the neighborhood.
