Felon arrested in northeast Fresno, guns found in home

A 55-year-old man on felony probation was arrested in northeast Fresno for allegedly possessing two handguns.

Fresno police Sgt. Doug Goertzen said Steven Marshall was arrested Monday in the area of Cedar and Shepherd avenues for a felony warrant out of Madera County for being a convicted felon in possession of a gun. The following day, police seized two handguns from Marshall’s home in the Woodward Lakes area during a probation compliance search. Goertzen said Marshall was charged with two more counts of being a convicted felon in possession of a gun.
