Visalia music teacher arrested for allegedly molesting students

A Visalia music teacher was arrested Tuesday evening for allegedly molesting two of his students in the last month, police said.

Visalia police Sgt. Kevin Kroeze said that Gabriel Ziessler, 29, was arrested around 4 p.m. and booked into the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility on suspicion of child molestation.

On Feb. 26, Ziessler inappropriately touched a juvenile student during a music lesson at his job at Grace Note Music Studio in the 800 block of West Oak Street, Kroeze said.

On Tuesday, police learned of a second underage victim whom Ziessler met through his position as music director at the Rocky Hill Community Church in Exeter, Kroeze said. Police believe Ziessler had unlawful sexual relations with this victim in Visalia and Exeter.

Ziessler was arrested an hour after the second reported molestation and interviewed by detectives from the Visalia Police Department Violent Crimes Unit before being booked.
