A Coalinga homeless woman was arrested Thursday after she allegedly tried to rob the women’s locker room at West Hills College Coalinga for the second time in a month, police said.
Coalinga police Sgt. Manny Boulos said that Kara White Wilk, 25, posed as a student to get into the locker room. A woman recognized Wilk as someone she believed stole from her locker in January, and the victim called police when she noticed Wilk was carrying her stolen property.
Police located the stolen property of several victims on Wilk after her arrest, Boulos said. An investigation indicated Wilk was in possession of stolen property from numerous other Coalinga residents. This investigation is still ongoing.
Wilk was booked into Fresno County Jail on multiple charges of possessing stolen property and one drug charge.
