Five arrested for allegedly forging cash, credit cards and prescriptions

Five people were arrested after police say they were involved in forging and stealing prescriptions, credit cards, identification cards, driver’s licenses, and making counterfeit money.

Clovis police served a search warrant in the 3700 block of Blackstone Avenue on Thursday in a case that was initiated in Clovis.

Thomas Hayslett, 42, of Fresno was arrested on suspicion of multiple counts of forgery and identity theft with prior convictions, the Clovis Police Department said.

Cheryl Estes, 51, of Fresno, was arrested on suspicion of making or passing counterfeit money, and Jeremy Hanson, 38, of Fresno was arrested on a drug warrant.

Floyd Gardner, 27, of Fresno, had a warrant out of Arizona and was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.

Ashley Farmer, 32, of Clovis was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and stolen property, police said.
