An 18-year-old man was arrested for allegedly shooting someone in a gang-related incident, Visalia police said.
About 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, Jose Gutierrez allegedly opened fire with a shotgun on the 600 block of South Sowell Street and fled, police said. Police tracked him down in Woodlake and arrested him on suspicion of attempted murder.
A 16-year-old boy who allegedly drove the getaway vehicle was arrested Thursday in Visalia.
A victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The victim’s name and age were not released.
