A Fresno man stabbed several times early Saturday in Hanford is expected to survive, police reported.
The victim, 33-year-old Gary Carlos, told officers that he was walking to the store from an apartment complex in the 21200 block of West Hanford-Armona Road about 1 a.m. when he was approached by three males. He was asked where he was from and when he said Fresno, he was stabbed several times. The attackers fled and Carlos was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center. Carlos gave a false identity and investigators later discovered he is wanted in Fresno County on a robbery charge.
