Bryson DeChambeau and Hannah Sodersten turned the Len Ross Fresno City Junior Amateur into their personal golf playground this week.

The Clovis East High juniors each went wire-to-wire to claim the overall titles at the 64th annual tournament.

DeChambeau finished at 2-under 283 to repeat as boys champion by seven strokes and Sodersten came in at 4-over 294 to claim the girls title by three.

DeChambeau went wire-to-wire for a second straight year. He was tied for the lead Monday but had built an eight-stroke lead entering Thursday's final round at Fort Washington Country Club. Even his worst round, a 76 with six bogies and just two birdies, wasn't enough for runner-up Brian Waterhouse (Clovis West) to catch him.

Waterhouse, tied with DeChambeau after each shot 70 Monday, shot an even 72 Thursday to finish at 290.

Sodersten added the Len Ross title to an already bulging trophy haul from the past year when she won the Ladies Championship flight of the Fresno City Amateur, the Lemoore Junior Open and the Bumgardner Junior Memorial in Modesto. She also qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur, as did DeChambeau.

Ashley Noda of Sacramento finished second at 7-over 297.
