Nisa Ontiveros earned the win and had three hits to help pace visiting Ridgeview to a 7-6 upset of Buchanan – No. 4 in the latest Central Section rankings by The Bee – at the Bears' Easter Classic. Taylor Wright had three hits and Bailey O'Dell went 2 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs for Buchanan.

Madera rallied for three in the bottom of the seventh to shock No. 9 Clovis 4-3 and handled Hanford 7-2 at Buchanan. Naomi Gomez and Brianna Perez hit two-out doubles and Veronica Solis ended it with a two-run homer against the Cougars. Solis had two doubles and three RBIs against the Bullpups to back Jackie Alzando's four-hit pitching.

Kassandra Workentine pitched a one-hitter, and Isabel Reyes and Damaree Rodriguez each drove in two runs to lead Washington past Lindsay 6-1 at the Fowler Easter Classic.

Rachel Rodriguez's two-run single in the top of the eighth propelled No. 7 Central to a 6-5 victory over Bullard at the Fowler tournament.

Mission Oak dropped D-IV No. 3 Fowler 7-4 at the Fowler tournament behind the six-hit pitching of Mayleen Mazon.


David Sousa and Thomas Flanagan combined on a four-hitter as Chowchilla upset D-V No. 3 Immanuel 6-5 at the Selma Kiwanis Classic. Flanagan struck out five in two innings.

Kerman, behind Travis Walker's three-hitter with six strikeouts, downed Taft 10-1 at the Selma tournament.

Isaac Mendez drove in four runs and Roman Rosales two, as Kingsburg blanked Caruthers 10-0 at the Selma tournament.

Matt DeLeon came on in relief in the second inning and pitched 4-hit ball the rest of the way, as McLane shut out Shafter 1-0 at the Selma tournament.

Dinuba scored four in the bottom of the seventh to beat Coalinga 7-6 at the Fowler R.J. Hill Homes Easter Classic. Anthony Montalvo had three hits and Andrew Lopez drove in three runs for the Emperors.

Isaac Mendez went 2 for 3 with four RBIs to lead Kingsburg past D-V No. 2 Caruthers 10-0 at the Fowler tournament.

Matt Morales struck out seven over five innings and host D-IV No. 3 Fowler won 13-1 at its tournament over Coalinga.
