Baseball and softball highlights March 25


Devin White pitched a two-hitter, striking out 10, and went 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs as Fresno remained unbeaten in the North Yosemite League with a 2-0 win over Hoover.

No. 2 Clovis West scored five runs in the top of the sixth inning, capped by Logan Carter's two-run single, to rally for a 7-5 victory over No. 8 Clovis East in the Tri-River Athletic Conference. Trevor Crough had a two-run single that tied it, 5-5, before Carter's hit. The other two TRAC games were rescheduled for Monday.

James Berry homered, doubled twice and drove in six runs as Selma routed Coalinga 10-0 in the Central Sequoia League.

Lucas DiCiccio struck out nine in six innings, Nicco Dalena went 3 for 3 with a triple, double, two RBIs and two runs, and Brennan Jacobson had three hits and three RBIs as Memorial, ranked third by The Bee in Division II, blasted Sunnyside 14-2 to stay unbeaten in the County/Metro Athletic Conference.


Haley Nason earned the pitching win and went 4 for 4 with three RBIs as Caruthers defeated Sierra 8-3 in a nonleague game.
