GIRLS TENNIS HIGHLIGHTS

Marisa Statton won her No. 2 singles match and teamed with Selah McFall to win at No. 1 doubles as top-seeded Immanuel won the Division III title with a 6-3 victory over No. 3 and defending champion Porterville. The Eagles had won the past four D-IV titles before being promoted.

Albertson (15:21), Kevin Barnard (15:25), Joshua Orosco (15:46) and Cody Brazel (15:46) finished Nos. 1-4 as Buchanan came six points from a perfect score while running away with the Tri-River Athletic Conference boys cross country title at Woodward Park. The Bears also won the girls' crown decisively as Macy Bricks (17:54) and Hagen Reedy (18:13) placed 1-2.
