BOYS WATER POLO HIGHLIGHTS

Jake Salomonson scored twice in the first period as top-ranked Clovis bolted to a 5-1 lead en route to a 6-2 win over No. 2 Buchanan in the Tri-River Athletic Conference. Goalie Nick Stott blocked 10 shots for the Cougars, who won Central Section Division I titles consecutively in 2007-08 before Buchanan defeated Clovis West for the crown last year.
