Clovis West and Bullard, two of the section's most dominant boys volleyball programs in the past 20 years, will collide at 7 p.m. today in the D-I semifinals in the Golden Eagles' gym.
Top-seeded Clovis West (32-1) is ranked No. 4 in the state and No. 18 nationally by ESPN RISE Fab 50.
Fourth-seeded Bullard (22-10) lost 3-0 to the Eagles on March 23, but will arrive tonight with a 13-match winning streak.
"March 23 seems like a long time ago," Clovis West coach Bob McCarthy said. "We've scouted Bullard and we think they're one of the most improved teams in the Valley."
The other semifinal will match No. 3 Clovis at No. 2 Buchanan. The championship is Friday at the home of the highest remaining seed.
