Tyler Cook struck out 10 and went the distance as Chowchilla edged Yosemite 2-1. The Redskins broke up a scoreless game in the fifth with Sean Kinsley's RBI double then Thomas Flanagan's RBI single.

Michael Isom outdueled Seth Moranda and top-ranked Clovis West got two hits and two RBIs from Jake Alvarez in a 6-2 Tri-River Athletic Conference win over No. 3 Buchanan.

Max Schuh and Garrett Kelly drove in two runs each and Edison scored four in the bottom of the seventh to escape with a 7-6 County/Metro Athletic Conference victory against Bullard.


Alexis Maciel doubled and eventually scored on a two-out, bases loaded walk to Breanna Armiento as Madera upset No. 3 Clovis West 1-0 in the TRAC.

Tori Rich was 4 for 4 with the game-winning, two-run double in the seventh to lead Washington (No. 2 in Division IV) past Sierra 5-2 in the North Sequoia League.

Geneva Perez threw a two-hit shutout, striking out 11, as Edison defeated Hoover 9-0. Teammate Coree Lentell went 3 for 5 with three runs and two RBIs.
