Highlights from March 26


Trent Seib, Tyler Schroeder and Chewy Telesco had RBIs in a four-run seventh that lifted visiting Bullard to a 10-7 win over Hoover in the County/Metro Athletic Conference. Schroeder finished with two hits, two runs and two RBIs.

Wilson Ashford struck out six in six innings, Chris Mariscal went 3 for 3, including a home run and double, and Kyle Martinez homered and drove in two runs as No. 5 Clovis North remained in control of the CMAC with a 10-2 rout of Reedley.

Senior left-hander William Rosado, in a career-best performance, pitched a one-hitter, hit a home run, double and single and drove in three runs, powering No. 6 Clovis East to an 8-1 rout at No. 2 Clovis West, which is also ranked No. 8 in the state. The Timberwolves took over first place in the TRAC at 3-0. Michael Gilleland accounted for the Eagles' only hit with a fourth-inning home run.

Anthony Valle pitched a five-hitter and struck out five as Madera South improved to 3-0 in the North Yosemite League by beating defending champion Fresno 6-4.

Travis Walker pitched a four-hitter and struck out seven as Kerman defeated Dos Palos 3-0 in a nonleague game.
