THE BUZZ

The Tri-River Athletic Conference may land the top four D-I seeds Saturday, when the brackets are determined in Porterville.

A consideration: Clovis West, which will probably finish fourth in the TRAC, beat Gahr-Cerritos on a neutral court. This, after Gahr went a combined 8-0, including wins over probable league champs Bullard (County/Metro Athletic Conference), Memorial (North Yosemite), Lemoore (West Yosemite) and CVC (Central Sequoia), while winning the Holiday Invitational and Clovis Elks Classic tournaments.

Clovis East visits Buchanan tonight. Then the Bears go to Central on Friday.

Washington (18-10, 8-0), winner of 11 straight, visits Sierra (18-5, 7-1) in a CSL showdown Wednesday.
