THE BUZZ

The latest TRAC feature will send Central (3-1) to Buchanan (3-1) tonight to close the first round. A section surprise is North Yosemite League-leading Madera South (13-6, 4-0), which won 52-47 at Sunnyside (16-2, 3-1) two days after the Wildcats won 66-54 at Memorial (3-1). This all sets up a showdown tonight sending Memorial to Madera South. Senior Niko Cunningham is averaging 20 points a game in league play and sophomore Trevon Jackson has asserted himself on the boards for the Stallions, who have found life under former Bullard coach Jody Sharp.

Lindsay has made a statement in D-IV and the East Sequoia League (4-0) by winning six straight, including thumpings of Corcoran (67-49), Strathmore (60-42) and Orosi (78-48) in its last three.
