Senyce Parrish scored 18 points and No. 2 Clovis West bolted to a 17-point first-quarter lead in a 66-30 Tri-River Athletic Conference win over Central.

Tashae Tanksley's 16 points led No. 8 Edison over Hoover 65-57 in a County/Metro Athletic Conference opener.

No. 5 Buchanan blasted Madera 57-29 in both teams' TRAC opener behind 15 points by Corinne Denhartog. Brianna Watson scored 20 to lead No. 10 Clovis over Clovis East 58-49 in the TRAC.

Brandon Bill scored 19, including three second-half 3-pointers, in Sierra's 66-41 victory over rival Yosemite in the North Sequoia League. Trevor Baker added 18 for the Chieftains, No. 3 in Division IV.
