Fresno's Kevin Chappell and Keith Huber have advanced to the second stage of Q-School in their attempts to earn PGA Tour cards.
Chappell shot a 5-under 283 to tie for 13th and Huber shot 2-under while just making the cut in a tie for 23rd at the San Juan Oaks Golf Club.
Chappell started his fourth and final round tied for 32nd, but blistered the final nine at 31 for a 65.
The Q-School's second stage will be at various courses around the country Nov. 18-21. The third and final stage will be Dec. 2-7.

PP&K winners advance
Merced's Ricky Martinez (272 feet, 9 inches), competing in the 12-13-years-old boys division, posted the best score of the day in the California Central Sectional of the National Football League Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick competition in Fresno.
Martinez, along with seven other boys and girls winners in four age groups, will advance to regional competition Nov. 22 at halftime of the Oakland Raiders' home game with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Also emerging from Fresno are Oakhurst's Cannon Eames (178-2, 8-9 years), Clovis' Matthew Primavera (242-3, 10-11 years) and Fresno's David Wells (216-3, 14-15 years) in the boys and Tulare's Chaselynn Armas (86-4, 8-9 years), Porterville's Jewell Daly (86-5, 10-11 years), Sanger's Danielle Tetuan (168-4, 12-13 years) and Tulare's Jessica Armas (241-2, 14-15 years) in the girls.
