Golden Eagles go low at TRAC golf tourney

Michael Weaver and Pace Johnson powered the Clovis West High golf team to a rare score at Fort Washington Country Club.

Weaver shot a 6-under 66 and Johnson added a 4-under 68 as the Golden Eagles shot 1-under 359 as a team to win the Tri-River Athletic Conference mini-tournament Monday.

Clovis East's Quin Guadina also was under par with a 2-under 70.
