How many dogs do you know can pick up a soccer ball that’s bigger than their head? You may not know many, but Adora, a petite 5-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund blend, has figured this trick out!
She absolutely loves to chase her stuffed soccer ball and she already knows to bring it back to you for another round of play.
With as much energy as this little rocket has, she still loves to have lap time too! She’s a kisser and a rather wiggly snuggler, and plops down in any available lap that will welcome her.
Adora lives life with a smile on her face and is entirely devoted to her humans. She wants nothing more than to be with people. Adora is looking for a medium-energy-level household that she can make herself comfortable in — her own bed, or a piece of yours, would be a huge plus for her! Going out for walks would be nice, too, and sharing her home with another small canine companion would be A-OK with her!
Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at 85 Temperance Ave. just south of Sierra Avenue. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, are current on their vaccinations and microchipped.
Adoption fees are $25 for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
Note: the Pet of the Week may no longer be available after press time, but plenty of other adoptable pets are. Visit clovisanimalservices.org/miss-winkles for more information.
