Susan Gardner received the California Prison Health Care Service Nursing Excellence Award. She is a nurse at Corcoran State Prison and a former graduate and employee of Porterville College.

New faces

London Properties Ltd. has hired the following employees for residential sales: Mary Lopez and Clarence Hutchinson in the Clovis office; Julie Easley in the Fresno office; and Emilio Hernandez in the Sanger office.

Michael Bargagliotti has been named new executive director of the American Heart Association, Central Valley division. He was in sales and marketing management in the sports and entertainment industry for over 15 years.


Mark Peters has been promoted to president and chief operating officer for iLoveToCreate, a Duncan Enterprise Company. He has been with the company since July 1996. He has served in various executive level positions. Mark earned his bachelor's degree in food science at the University of California at Davis in 1977 and his master's degree in business administration at the University of California at Berkley in 1981.

Heather Robison-Daniels, Steven D. Smith and James M. Donabed each have been promoted from an Administrative Law Judge 1 to an Administrative Law Judge 2, according to the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, Fresno Office of Appeals.


United Wester Industries Inc. celebrated 40 years of service. The company is a major supplier of parts for Paccar Inc., the parent company of Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks.
