A federal grand jury in Fresno on Tuesday indicted three Clovis residents on methamphetamine distribution charges.
Robert Cervantes, 43, Cheryl Stroud, 31, and Jennifer Stroud, 32, were arrested Friday after a three-month undercover investigation, according to federal authorities.
The grand jury indictment alleges the three distributed multiple ounces of methamphetamine to law enforcement officers posing as buyers. An additional ounce of suspected methamphetamine and a firearm were seized when officers arrested Cervantes.
If convicted, the defendants face a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison and a maximum sentence of life in prison, plus a $4 million fine.
