Clovis Unified School District trustees will wait until tonight before naming an interim superintendent to replace Superintendent David Cash.
Trustees did not reach agreement on an interim superintendent during a special board meeting Tuesday afternoon. The board will try again at a closed session at 5:30 p.m. today.
Cash abruptly announced Friday he was retiring after two years with Clovis Unified. His retirement will be effective July 31, and he will serve as a consultant to the district during the transition.
