Bill Myers, local business owner and business coach, received an advanced license to help law firms by recently completing advanced training in business coaching with the Legal Practice Coaches Alliance.

Marcela Garcia-Dungy of the Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. Fresno branch recently attained the Certified Financial Planner certification.

Kaweah Delta Health Care District was recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center with a Magnet designation, which recognizes organizational and nursing excellence.

25 Realtors from the Century 21 C. Watson office earned the Certified Distressed Property Expert designation having completed extensive training in foreclosure avoidance, with an emphasis on short sales.

Announcements

Valens' Autobody in Clovis received recognition as a Green Station by the California Department of Toxic Substance Control in partnership with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. The collision repair shop is the only repair shop in the Central Valley to receive this certification.

Scott Camp was named regional vice president of Northern California and the Central Valley for the Business Banking group by Union Bank.

Brandon Gonzales of Coldwell Banker Premier Real Estate was appointed sales manager of the company's Fresno office.

Tonisha Pacheco was loan officer of the month for April at US Mortgage Home Loan Center.

The California State University, Fresno, student-run floral lab was named one of the top wedding florists of the central and coast regions of California by theknot.com, a website which provides couples ideas and tips for their weddings.

The Golden 1 Credit Union recently received the "People Helping People" award at the 2011 People Helping People Awards luncheon. The award is designed to recognize businesses that provide exemplary support for community projects and charities.

Peggy Marcantoni, Jim O'Neal and Douglas Sanderson of the RE/MAX Gold Clovis office were awarded 100% Club awards at RE/MAX Gold's recent 2010 Production Awards Luncheon.

Don Doyle of the RE/MAX Gold Shaver Lake office received the 100% Club plaque.

Donations

Golden 1 Credit Union employees and members donated $10,000 to the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement.

New faces

Maria Sandoval Rivera joined Keller William Realty Fresno.

Glenn Pierce joined California Cars & Trucks as a new vehicle broker and will assist in overseeing consignments, appraisals and preowned sales.

Michele Evans joined Melody Daggs Professional Dog Training as general manager. Evans will oversee the new indoor dog training facility as well as teach classes, conduct private lessons and consultations.

New agents joining London Properties are: Jennifer Nash, Clovis office, and Adrian Valencia and Anamiria Madrigal, Merced office.

Steven Hankel joined Johanson Transportation Service as web developer. Hankel will be responsible for application development for the JTS Interactive Services website and its traffic management system, where carriers and customers manage freight orders.
