Century 21 M&M and Associates was recognized at the Century 21 International Convention as the No. 1 company in the Century 21 system based on units sold in 2010. Century 21 M&M and Associates has offices in Clovis, Madera, Los Banos and Merced.

Announcements

Lupita Lomeli, community relations director and morning show host of Univision 21's Arriba Valle Central, was named Businesswoman of the Year by the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Jeff Merrill was the No. 1 producer for March for Guarantee Home Loans. Dave Falke and Guy Willis were recognized for their March production.

Cara Dierkes-Ray of Tulare and Angelica Castillo of Porterville were the top agents in overall sales in March in their offices for Premier Real Estate.

Awards

Laura Magdaleno, Patrick Prince, Todd Earnhart, Dennis Mehling and Modesta Cuevas of Keller Williams Realty Fresno received the Bronze Associate Medallion Award for earning between $60,000 and $119,999 in GCI or 15-26 units in 2010.

Angie Vega, community outreach coordinator for Pacific Gas & Electric Co., received the 2011 Rising Star Award from the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Johanson Transportation Service received the "Premier Carrier Award" from Cost Plus World Market for outstanding customer service, on-time pickup and deliveries, and the ease of doing business with the company.

SHRM of Tulare/Kings County received the EXCEL Gold Award for 2010 from the Society for Human Resource Management.

The Bridge Store, Delaware North Companies and Valley Bowl received the Crystal Tower Award for exemplary school partnerships at the Business and Education Shareholders' Luncheon hosted by the Madera County Compact.

Robert Arroyo, Campos Brothers Farms; Bruce Poulsen, Darden Architecture; Tom Larson and Kelly Larson, Herff Jones Publishing; North Fresno Rotary and Hector Medina, Madera High School, ROP Restaurant Services, received the 2011 William F. Noli Award from Fresno ROP, a department of the Fresno County Office of Education.

Brandon K Calhoun, a financial adviser for Wells Fargo Advisors in Fresno, received the Albert Gallatin Award, one of the top sales honors given by the national brokerage firm.

Donna Measell received the Future Leader of the Year Award for the National Association of Women in Construction, Region 10.

New faces

Dr. Olayinka Omololu, specializing in internal medicine, joined Visalia Medical Clinic.

Scott Iverson joined Wells Fargo Commercial Banking as vice president and relationship manager covering Kings and Tulare counties and will be based in Visalia.

Michael Gilmore joined Mission Hills Mortgage Bank as the new branch manager and a senior mortgage consultant for the Fresno office.

Dr. Saber Ghiassi joined Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery Associates Medical Group Inc. Dr. Ghiassi will focus on all aspects of laparoscopic general surgery and bariatric surgery.

Promotions

Kate Himes was promoted to vice president of loan servicing at Golden 1 Credit Union.
