High alcohol level found in fatal motorcycle crash

Toxicology tests indicate a motorcyclist killed in a crash north of Clovis in February had more than double the legal driving limit of alcohol in his system, the Fresno County Coroner's Office said Tuesday.

Brian Fulcher, 44, of Fresno had a level of 0.19, the office said. The legal limit is .08.

Fulcher crashed his 2008 Harley-Davidson on Auberry Road north of Reno Avenue after riding off the road about 11 p.m. Feb. 20, the California Highway Patrol said. The motorcycle hit a road marker, then a fence. He died at the scene.
