Clovis police arrested a 40-year-old Fresno man and a 24-year-old Kerman man Wednesday on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property and were seeking a third man, authorities said.

Officers stopped a vehicle just after 10 a.m. near Deauville Circle and Mc-Kelvy Avenue in Clovis, police said. Two men ran from the vehicle, but the driver was detained. An off-duty California Highway Patrol officer saw police chasing one of the men and tackled the suspect, holding him until police arrived.

The men are believed to be connected to four home burglaries in the area, police said. Stolen property was found in the vehicle and returned to its owners.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Clovis Police Department at (559) 324-2800.
