Another award for Clovis East grad, 'Glee' star Colfer

Clovis East graduate Chris Colfer is two for two at award shows this season.

After winning a Golden Globe on Sunday for his work on the Fox series "Glee," Colfer is the winner of the TV comedy performance of the year category at the second annual Dorian Awards.

The Dorians are presented by the Gay & Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association to honor the best in film and TV. Winners in 17 categories were announced Tuesday.

Colfer tied for the top honor with "Glee" co-star Jane Lynch, who also picked up a Golden Globe on Sunday.

"Glee" was named top TV musical or comedy and LGBT-themed TV show.

Next up for Colfer is the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 30. He's nominated in the category of outstanding performance by a male actor in a comedy series.

Other Dorian winners are:

  • Film performance of the year: Annette Bening, "The Kids Are All Right"
  • Documentary of the year: "Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work"
  • LGBT-themed film of the year: "I Love You Phillip Morris"
  • LGBT-themed documentary of the year: "8: The Mormon Proposition"
  • Campy film of the year: "Burlesque"
  • TV drama of the year: "The Good Wife"
  • TV drama performance of the year: Michael C. Hall, "Dexter"
  • Campy TV show of the year: "Hot in Cleveland"
  • Rising star award: Darren Criss, "Glee"
  • Unsung film of the year: "Easy A"
  • Unsung TV show of the year: "Hung"
  • Wilde wit of the year: Rachel Maddow
  • Timeless award: Angela Lansbury
