Clovis police conducted an extensive parole and probation sweep in the city Friday to clean up drug and gang-related crime, authorities said.
The sweep focused on southwest Clovis and was conducted by multiple Fresno County law enforcement agencies, officials said.
The sweep also was performed to make sure 42 new Clovis parolees were in compliance.
Six people were arrested and one firearm was confiscated in the sweep.
