The Honorable Nancy Cisneros, The Honorable Alan Simpson and Phil Cline, Tulare County district attorney, are new members of the San Joaquin College of Law Alumni Hall of Fame. Inductees were chosen based on their high standards of ethics, professional competency and achievements, which brought recognition and honor to the college of law.

Tajaishwarjit Randhawa of RE/MAX Gold is ranked 19th in the U.S. for RE/MAX Worldwide Commercial agents in year-to-date sales production. Randhawa's specialities include commercial real property and business opportunities.

Awards

Letie Rincon, R.N., was awarded the DAISY award for extraordinary nursing by Kaiser Permanente Fresno. Rincon, a medical surgery nurse, has worked at the Kaiser Permanente Fresno Medical Center for seven years.

VA Central California Healthcare System received the national Robert W. Carey Performance Achievement Award. VA Central California was among 12 VA hospitals and one VA cemetery honored for implementing management approaches resulting in sustained high levels of performance and service to veterans.

Joseph D. Perry, RE/MAX Gold of Clovis, received honorable mentions from the National Association of Realtors as part of its annual Good Neighbor Awards. The awards honor Realtors who volunteer to improve the quality of life in their communities. Perry is a volunteer at Boys2Men and Girls2Women.

The Tulare Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 2010 Business Award winners are: Man of the Year: Jesus Gamboa; Woman of the Year: Ruth Peña; President's Award: Dan Serna; Large Business of the Year: Wells Fargo; Small Business of the Year: Annabelle's Bridal Boutique; New Business of the Year: Ignite Events Inc.; Partner of the Year: Small Business Development Center; Non-Profit of the Year: Mariachi Nueva Generacion; Community Involvement Award: Manny Mendoza; Kings County Citizen of the Year: Piedad Ayala; Dinuba Member of the Year: The Island; Porterville Member of the Year: Sierra View Hospital; Ambassador of the Year: Debbie Gullord; ServiceMaster and Youth of the Year: Christina Rodriguez.

Donations

The Rotary Club of Fresno presented a $1,000 check to Fresno City College for the Zone Student-Athlete Success Program, and a $500 check to Central High School for the ORACLE Program; and The Rotary Club of Fresno Foundation presented a check for $10,000 to Baird Middle School for its Pavilion Project Landscaping and Sound System.

Kaiser Permanente presented a $75,000 grant to the Community Food Bank and to the Fresno County Economic Opportunities Commission.

New faces

Agents joining the Guarantee Real Estate Fort Washington office in October were: Judy Hope, Aurora Ochoa, Daniel Schwartz and Stephanie Jimenez.

Robert Longatti joined Fresno First Bank. Longatti has more than 40 years of banking experience, primarily in lending and executive management.

Pattie Murillo joined Peña's Disposal Service as a recycling-outreach coordinator.

Lorraine Farkas, a certified nurse midwife, joined Central Valley OB/GYN Medical Group. Farkas has experience in women's health care, including in public health nursing and childbirth education, and more than 10 years of experience as a labor-and-delivery nurse before graduating as an OB/GYN nurse practitioner.

New agents joining London Properties Ltd. are: Ranetta Bron, Madera office; Tammy Burgess, Merced office; and Josie Hurst, Shantay Davies, Adam Riojas and Brandy Tschappler, Fresno office.
