London Properties and Eileen Tiso and her office, The Real Estate Network, have merged. Tiso joins London Properties as a broker associate with more than 25 years of experience and will also manage London Property Management.

Joe Duran is employee of the month for October at Eagle Mountain Casino. Duran is from the Table Games Department.

Karol Bourdet was recognized as top producer for October at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

Keith Swinger and Latishia Sharer earned Wells Fargo Home Mortgage's Top 10% Award in the nation for July.

Tonisha Pacheco is the loan officer of the third quarter for 2010 at US Mortgage Home Loan Center.

Janet Williams, R.N., of Selma Community Hospital's Emergency Department, received the Emergency Nurses Association Nurse of the Year award at the Mid-Valley Chapter awards dinner. Donald Calhoun, L.V.N., a Selma Community Hospital Emergency Department extern, received the Rising Star award and scholarship, and Kashmir Chatha, R.N., from the hospital's emergency department, received a nursing scholarship.

Annette A. Ruvalcaba received five-year achievement recognition by HealthCare California. Ruvalcaba is a member of the company's nursing team at the Visalia office.

Yezdyar Kaoosji, CFRE, was recognized by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Valley Chapter and the association's headquarters in Washington, D.C., as a charter member of its Leadership Society.

Awards

Vernon Crowder, vice president and agricultural economist with Rabobank's Food & Agri Research Group, received the Durward K. McDaniel Ambassador Award for 2010 from the American Council of the Blind. The award is in recognition of a blind person who has, through his or her personal characteristics and activities, unrelated to his or her employment, contributed most to the acceptance and understanding of blind people as capable and contributing members of the community.

Donations

Comerica Bank, Clovis Kiwanis, WestAmerica Bank, Rotary Club of Fresno, SJV Children's Health Association, First 5 Fresno County, Wolfe Enterprises and U.S. Script collectively donated $14,500 to support Assistance League's program Operation School Bell.

Milestones

Milan Institute recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. The company began in October 1985 with the campus in Visalia and has grown to 18 locations throughout the western United States. The Milan Institute Visalia offers short-term career training in accounting, administrative medical assistant, administrative specialist, health-care billing and coding, massage therapy and medical assisting. Milan Institute and Milan Institute of Cosmetology are a group of career schools offering training in the health care, massage therapy, business and cosmetology fields.

New faces

Residential sales associates joining London Properties are: Matt Vanek, Kingsburg office; Crystol Springer, Sophia Fisher and Tahamasa Gilcrest, Clovis office; and Richard Nottingham, Hanford office.

Michelle Jenkins, CRS, and Debbie Foster, Realtor, GRI, joined RE/MAX Gold in Fresno. Jenkins specializes in working with first-time buyers and foreclosures, while Foster works in residential real estate and specializes in first-time buyers and foreclosures.

Ken Motschiedler joined Quiring Corp. as contracts administrator. Motschiedler has more than 10 years experience in construction contracting.

Promotions

Erika Velazquez is the new corporate office manager of Foreclosure Counseling Inc.

Steve Mendoza was promoted to executive director of Kings Rehabilitation Center.

Robert Coulter was named corporate manager of Information Systems and Technology for BSK Associates. Coulter has been with BSK for two years and has 10 years of IS/IT experience in the environmental industry.
