Clovis boy, 11, no longer missing

2:19 p.m.: An 11-year-old Clovis boy missing since he failed to show up at school this morning returned home and is "safe and sound," Clovis Police spokeswoman Calli Biaggi said.

The boy, Noah Ware, came home early this afternoon. His father reported him missing shortly after 8:30 a.m. when he discovered that Noah was not at school.

Clovis Police officers had searched for Noah for several hours this morning.

12:01 p.m.: An 11-year-old boy who didn't arrive at school this morning is sought by Clovis police.

Noah Ware's father contacted police after he went to the school to deliver the boy's backpack and learned he was not there.

Police say Noah and his brother left their home near Maine and Rialto avenues about 7:30 a.m.

Noah is 5 feet tall and weighs 125 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing black shorts, a black shirt and black and white skater shoes.
