Jeremy Uhrig, who was found dead in his Clovis duplex Aug. 23, died of a methamphetamine overdose, the Fresno County Coroner's Office reported.
Uhrig died while his 2-year-old daughter was inside the home with him.
When his body was discovered by the duplex owner and a maintenance man, police were concerned Uhrig might have been a victim of foul play. He had not been seen for 36 hours when his body was discovered.

Fresno police target pedestrian scofflaws
Fresno police Wednesday targeted pedestrians and drivers who ignore pedestrian right-of-way laws and issued 123 citations.
Sgt. Bruce Owen said traffic officers wrote the violations against pedestrians who jaywalked or ignored traffic signals. Drivers who failed to yield for pedestrians also were cited.
Owen said that six of the city's 18 fatal crashes this year have involved pedestrians; pedestrians were at fault in three of those cases.
