An 18-year-old Friant man was hospitalized with major injuries after the car he was driving collided head-on with an SUV on Monday afternoon in north Fresno County.
The California Highway Patrol said Rodd Threatt was southbound on Willow Avenue just before 5 p.m. in a Dodge Charger when he crossed a double yellow line near Friant Road and crashed into a GMC Yukon driven by Donald Osborne, 69, of Clovis.
Threatt was taken to Community Regional Medical Center. Osborne and his passenger, Nicholas Ohanesian, 64, of Clovis, suffered minor to moderate injuries and were taken to Saint Agnes Medical Center.
Alcohol or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash, the CHP said.
