Clovis offers fee break for growing businesses

The city of Clovis hopes to boost its economy by offering a break on business license fees for eligible growing businesses.

Home-based businesses that want to move into a commercial space -- retail, office or industrial -- and complete a small-business training course can save money on their business license fees.

Eligible business owners can get two years worth of rebates on fees already paid or a credit on two years of future fees.

Businesses must have a current home-based business license and plan to move to a new space in Clovis.

The training will be run by Central Valley Business Incubator or Small Business Development Center.
