Shooting suspect arrested in Clovis

A 29-year-old Fresno man was arrested Friday night in Clovis on suspicion of being involved in a shooting last week in southeast Fresno, authorities said.

Fresno police Sgt. Steve Crawford said the man was found in a Clovis home about 6:45 p.m. The man is suspected of shooting another man in the leg on the 4600 block of East Eugenia Avenue.

The man is also suspected to be a Bulldog gang member, Crawford said.

He was booked into Fresno County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and probation violation.
